The topic of this book is Straight Talk to data science, which is a field of study and application that has been growing rapidly for the past several decades. As a growing field, it is gaining a lot of attention in both the media as well as in the job market. This move was modeled after tech companies who, honestly, only recently started hiring massive data teams. These skills are in high demand and their applications extend much further than today's job market. This book will attempt to bridge the gap between math/programming/domain expertises. Most people today have expertise in at least one of these (maybe two), but proper data science requires a little bit of all three. We will dive into topics from all three areas and solve complex problems. We will clean, explore, and analyze data in order to derive scientific and accurate conclusions. Machine learning and deep learning techniques will be applied to solve complex data tasks.

Dr. C. Amuthadevi is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Kancheepuram, India. She received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2016, and received M.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore in the year 2009. She has more than 25 research publications in reputed journals, book chapters and has obtained patents in the field of computer science. Her research interests include computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data analytics. she is a reviewer for reputed journals indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science and SCI/SCI-E.
Dr. K. Arthi is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Kancheepuram, India. She received the Ph.D. and M.E. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the Anna University, Chennai, in 2015 and 2005, respectively. She has 30 research publications in reputed journals, book chapters and has obtained patent in the field of computer science. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, wireless sensor networks, network protocol and algorithm design in computer networks. she is a reviewer for reputed journals indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science and SCI/SCI-E.
Dr. R. Radhika is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chengalpattu, India and received her Ph.D program in the Department of Information Science and Technology, College of Engineering Guindy Campus, Anna University, Chennai, India. She has completed her M.E in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy Campus, Anna University, Chennai, India. Her areas of Interests are Internet of Things, Networks Security and Data Science. She is a Lifetime member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) .She has published several International Journals, she has published her research findings in Intellectual Property of India. she is a reviewer for reputed journals indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science and SCI/SCI-E.
