Professor Rajendra Singh Rajput has been involved in teaching and training in Community Health since 1992. Presently, he is a professor at and the Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Govt. SDJH Medical College & Hospital, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. He provides consultancy, training, monitoring, IEC development to NGOs, CBOs, INGOS, Government Departments, NSS, NCC, NYK and Scout & Guides on various health issues like hygiene and sanitation, MCH, RCH, ARSH, HIV/AIDS, etc. Dr. Rajput has a flair for writing and writes articles and features for print and electronic media. He has been a columnist on national dailies and an empanelled expert on adolescence issues on All India Radio, DD, Times Now, ETV, etc.
Dr. Rajput received the prestigious American Excellence Award for Holistic Medicine and Community Health. He was also awarded by the President of India for his acumen of social services. He propels pan Indian adolescents and youth on life skills, a healthy lifestyle, sex education, family life education, career counselling, etc.
