Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalDo you find that your children or grandchildren are restless during the lockdown or holidays? Do you want to keep them entertained but at the same time make them learn something new? Do you want to instill moral values into your kids?
Then this is the book for you.
Grandpa tirelessly regales children with forty stories from all around. Every story carries a moral at the end for the children to ruminate upon. These stories can keep your children engaged and fascinated during their free time.
“There is a good reason for everything that happens”, says Grandpa, “Like the story of the ship-wrecked sailor” and the children immediately pounce upon grandpa to tell them the story of the Ship-wrecked Sailor.
“Don’t interfere with your dad while he is painting the patio, your advice is not needed,” says Grandpa, “Like the King’s Sculptor who was advised by too many people”.
There are stories which inculcate Benevolence (The Three Good Deeds), Dedication (Akbar and Tansen) Humility (The Humble Millionaire), Devotion to God (God’s Grace), and stories Just for Laughs (The Cure, Oh! Doctor)
And many more such stories in the backdrop of everyday occurrence in the families as a prelude which takes you to the height of imagination and morality.
These stories could also be read out to pupils during Moral Science classes by teachers in primary schools and by moms as bedtime stories to soothe the intellect of the kids to sleep.
