Author M Mrithika Santhoshini is a native of Coimbatore, India. She is a poet, filmmaker, lyricist, translator, and artivist. She has written and published three books in English prior to this, has eleven years of experience in the South Indian Film Industry, and had translated three Tamil poetry books into English. She loves cooking, likes children, loves animals, talks to plants, and enjoys taking photographs. Painting and poetry had been her art of meditation. The author keeps her belief in God private, as she thinks that is how it has to be. A proud old-school young woman, hailing from the family of traders, her approach to life and people has always been different.
