R. Radhakrishnan

Bringing stories to life and making them real.

Radhakrishnan is a traveller, storyteller and a seeker of stories.

Growing up in the sixties and seventies Radhakrishnan heard some of these stories from his mother, aunts and grandmothers.

In a corporate career of four decades, he travelled all over India. He heard simmilar stories or different versions and went on listening and accumulating stories.

He kept sharing these stories with his children and with friends. Once he retired he found more time to explore and collect these stories.

He loves to explore the similarities in the many versions found in the different regions of India and the lessons they teach even as they entertain. This book brings alive these stories from the folktales, epics and the songs that Indians have been telling or singing over the centuries. They bring to life an ageless, ancient and yet timeless India.

Radhakrishnan now lives in the beautiful city of Cochin in the state of Kerala with his family.
