Abhishek Verma
Abhishek Verma was born and brought up in Delhi, went to college in Kanpur, worked in
Mumbai and Bangalore and has travelled extensively across the world. He is drawn to
characters and stories that can find their place anywhere.
Abhishek graduated from IIT Kanpur and IIM Bangalore and started his career
as a management consultant. He has later worked in well known Indian consumer and tech
startups as a part of their leadership teams.
'The Breadmaker: Best. Bread. Mystery.' is his second work of fiction. Previously he has
written Jero's Journey, a coming of age story of a wildebeest in Serengeti, for middle grade
readers. He loves all things food, art and content, with a soft corner for the absurd and
quirky, which is reflected in his writing as well.
