He was awarded a certificate of testimony (1985) for the Editorial Writing Competition by J.L. Vorobiev, who represented USSR Books & Periodicals Soviet Books Readers' Club - Bombay, during his school days.
In addition, his short story '24 Hours' was awarded a silver medal in a writing contest held by Revenge Ink in 2008.
Gautam's love for writing is evident in his almost 1,000 fictional works that span a wide range of genres. When he's not honing his craft, he indulges in his other interests, such as listening to music, watching movies, and travelling.
