It cannot be
decided in advance when expectations will be fulfilled. Therefore, expectations
should always be in sync with patience. This is the reason why expectations are
often hidden in incomplete dreams, which we never try to understand.
This burden is felt by the leading
character of the novel when the people of his house ruthlessly question his
expectations. Seeing this atmosphere, he starts thinking about his sister’s
expectations. The book explores the creation of these expectations and how it leads
to a lot of friction.
