Subham Thapa, a screenwriter and author based in Mumbai, discovered his love for storytelling during his childhood in Dehradun. With schooling from Army Public School and a postgraduate degree in English Literature from SGRR College, Dehradun, Subham’s imagination was always fueled by the magic of stories.
Christmas was a special time for him—visiting the church just to enjoy festive treats and watching holiday films. But one Christmas Eve, he hears a mysterious jingle outside his window and he wonders: Was it just a cowbell or, perhaps, a sleigh? This fleeting moment inspired a whimsical thought: what if there were an Indian Santa Claus?
