Love is a primeval force which plays an important role in shaping up a young man’s life. Murugan, the son of a wealthy farmer was struck with an infatuation towards the beautiful daughter of a small cloth merchant who was partronised by his father. When she chose a richer person to marry just for the sake of money, Murugan was dejected and decided to take vengeance on her by proving that he could do better than the husband of his sweetheart in the same business.
There was a conflict of interests between his mindset and the business he thrust himself in. It led to an imminent disaster and was saved by the treasure left by his ancestors in the exact moment he needed. He soon discovered true love in his relative and boyhood friend and after gaining all that he lost, he ruminated over his life and wisdom dawned on his mind which led him to attain eternal peace which was the most dramatic moment in his life.
