Shankar & Krithika V Anand

Shankar is a person who is extremely passionate about writing. He hails from God’s Own Country. He is versatile, well-read and a “walking encyclopedia” as many of his friends jokingly call him. More importantly, he celebrates life through his poetry. Be it a joyous occasion or a sad moment in life, be it an important day in his life or just another day, he is of the kind who can churn out multiple poems in just a couple of hours. Sometimes he writes poems while in a trance and then wonders – “When did I write this?!!”

Krithika is also a person who gets very amused by the small things happening around her. The feminine touch she brings to her writing is evident in each of her poems. A caring mother, some of her poems expresses emotions only a mother can. A published writer in “The Hindu”, she can get very eloquent on a seemingly uninspiring subject. A cat, a dog or even a quarrel between her kids is enough for her to feel the urge to write a poem.
