Chirajit Paul was born in Kolkata, India in 1973. After completing B.Sc he went on to become a Chartered Accountant.
After a stint in Kolkata based accounting firm J Chakraborty & Co. he joined Crompton Greaves Ltd where he got exposed to system integration and IT management. Later he changed over to PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt. Ltd and eventually to IBM India Pvt. Ltd. where he is currently employed.
With The Obituary of Salim Nabi, Chirajit has made his debut in the literary world. Chirajit currently lives in Kolkata.
