I thought of penning this book based on immortal characters from two most famous classics of Ancient India , Ramayana and Mahabhrata. While writing this story I recollected all the tales I have read, seen and heard from my childhood days as has been common with almost every household in this country. The Seven Chiranjeevis discusses about the life of the Seven Immortal Heroes in Hinduism who are still believed to be alive over thousands of years. Each one of their lives is unique in some way or the other. We are not going into the debating part of whether these are factual or not rather I have attempted to make this storyline interesting for the readers of all ages by making it informative and adventurous as well. I have explained on some basic concepts of Hindu religion like Tridev, Shakti, Manavantar, Yugas , Rishis, etc; so that readers who are not aware of them shall find it easier to comprehend and relate. Hope this book shall be entertaining for the readers.

The Author is a post graduate in Botany. He was born in Kolkata and brought up in Cuttack and Ranchi. He completed his post graduation from Ravenshaw college, Cuttack. He worked in Sales and Marketing with various IT and Office Automation companies . He is settled in Mumbai with his family. He had an intense desire of reading on various subjects right from his childhood days which varied from Mythology to Science fiction. He also has an apt for writing which he has expressed in this book .
