J.M.M. Viyas, M.A., M.Phil, is Professor in English faculty at the Nilgiris. He has been in the teaching profession for more than 20 years. He is an admirer of the creative literature and written poetry books and translation works. His enriched knowledge in English literature prompted him to translate the Tamil Novel 'Ven Tharisu Nilam', a book which won the book of record award in 2022 and unique in that type of creative fiction.
