Capt Santosha K. Nayak has wide experience in Shipping and Ports activities. He has joined as a deck cadet in his career in seafaring after passing out in B.Sc(Nautical Sciences) from T.S.Chanakya. In his nautical career he rose to the rank of master(F.G.) and then joined as a Marine Pilot in India. He also has a stint of working as a Marine Pilot oveseas.
He has an experience in piloting various types and sizes of ships upto 370 m length in various wind and current scenarios. During his career as a marine pilot he has carried out extensive research on various aspect of Manoeuvring techniques of ships in harbour limits.
