Bhumika Sanjeev is a fourteen-year-old who is an avid reader, a classical dancer, a swimmer and an artist. She went on a reading spree during the COVID times and that’s when she unlocked her imagination, which led to the writing of her first book – Trigger. She is inspired by Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot and Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. She is greatly fascinated by the mystery and thriller genres. The complex stories and killer endings kept her glued to the books. She decided to choose this genre for her book. The idea of keeping her readers hooked to her book was on her mind when she penned her novel. She plans to write many more books and venture into the genres of horror and sci-fi in the near future.
