Born in a Bengali family, Pompi Mazumdar originally hails from the Cachar District, Assam, India. She grew up in a beautiful little town named Silchar, Assam. After completing her post-graduation (MBA in Human Resource Management & Marketing Management), in the year 2006, Pompi moved to the city of Bangalore, Karnataka, where she worked for various multi-national companies as a human resource professional.
Pompi is a very ambitious, self-motivated, and committed person, who thrives on the passion to create, especially through her writings in multiple languages, such as English, Hindi, and Bengali.
Besides being a novelist, Pompi is a blogger for various websites including WordPress.Com, Momspresso.Com, and JobsForHer.Com, where she experiments with her writing across various genres on various subjects, topics, and styles. She is also a poet, having written over 100 poems in various languages.
Presently, Pompi resides in the United States Of America with her family and works as a professional for a well-known retail industry. She also scripted,directed and produced a women centric Youtube series ( GUPSHAP ). The series is by mothers and is for women empowerment. It is about the culture of Indians in America. 22 episodes have already been released so far. Few more episodes of the Gupshap series are yet to come in the next few weeks.
