Jemima Caleb

Jemima Caleb is a literary enthusiast, born and brought up in Tamil Nadu, India.  From a very early age, she developed an immense love for the English language,  which led her to traverse western countries just through her books and passion for  literature. She is highly devoted to give her readers a fast-paced and sensational  impact on life instances sure to melt their hearts. She obtained a Master's Degree in  English Literature and today she is pursuing her dream of becoming a published  author, in between the multitudinous demands of adult life, and she remains  interested in issues confronting young women who lack so many of the privileges  that she now has by the Grace of God. Jemima Caleb's chief thematic concerns are  with the trials and tribulations of oppressed women in the male-dominated Indian  society. She stated in one of her poems that, only her loss of individuality and  entity after her father's demise made her center around the trauma of typical Indian  women, and their efforts to preserve their identity as a daughter, a wife, a mother,  and more than anything else, a human being. Having been brought up by a single  mother since her late teens, she became increasingly aware of the plight of women  that are commonly unnoticed by society. She has penned innumerable self inspiring poems and motivational quotes for readers of all ages, and she loves to  interact with people across the globe.
