Unpalatable truths Concerning sexuality, democracy and society

Author Name: V.S.Rao | Format: Paperback | Genre : Others | Other Details
The foregoing is a narration of my point of view of various social issues which keep on disturbing the social fabric time and again. People view different issues in different ways. Society lacks a touch stone to standardize and separate what is truth, what is half truth and what is a lie. Whoever has an upper hand in a situation, money wise or power wise or threat wise, decides what is truth. Nobody has the guts to challenge because all think of themselves to be safe and comfortable. Corrupt leaders, power full moneybags, immoral authorities, are the ones who make rules . I am not here to sermonize or to tell you what is good, what is bad. I will only be bringing up social issues from the buried conscience of the society and examine what is what. IN this process I am going to touch upon very delicate subjects and very unpalatable truths which border on revolutionary. I am only presenting the world as I see it. Neither these are absolute truths nor these are falsehoods. There are no absolutes in this world. All the observations made by me fall in between. Somebody may like it, some may not. But all these observations need to be thought over. I cannot help defending human male against the curse imposed by nature in his hormones. I cannot help commenting on rape in all its forms .I do not tolerate hypocricy inherent in human nature.I do not tolerate politicians destroying national ethics and well being by going all out to ensure vote banks . Thus this book

Born in lower middle class orthodox brahmin family, graduated in engineering on merit scholarship, went on to serve country in the Army, inculcated all the virtues of the Army such as discipline, loyalty, hard work, truthfulness, resisting injustice, uncorruptibility etc. Came back to civilian life and found all these values are absent in civilian life and further more these values are a burden and disadvantage in civilian life. What is required is deception, favouritism, corruption and satisfying the bosses. No questioning and no moralizing. Earn money and feed bosses. Got through life with difficulty and humiliation for my morals, but retired with no regrets. Wanted to express myself of what I did not like in the form of books. One already published by KINDLE "Three Stages of a Life Lived" an autobiography of Army life and aftermath. Hope you will understand my frank expression of my opinions.
