Born on 3rd July, 1961, Odisha (India), Sri Yajna Prakash Das, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from VSSUT, Burla in 1982 and subsequently completed his M.Tech from NIT, Rourkela. He worked as Head of IT in Rourkela Steel Plant, Steel Authority of India Limited and superannuated in 2021. He has visited many countries selected by GSE Programme of Rotary International.
Brought up in an environment of Vedic culture from childhood under his illustrious parents Er. Priyabrata Das and Smt. Shanno Devi, he was inspired by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, the great commentator of Vedas and social reformer of 19th century.
