Her honours is in English Literature, completed graduation from Bethune College under Calcutta University; then Post Graduation in English Literature from University of Calcutta- Senate House. She has achieved a B.Ed. degree from Howrah Girls College, under Calcutta University.
Her area of interest is 'How to use English Literature for the sake of Humanity'.
