Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalAn intense conflict between nations or groups is referred to as war. It is characterized by aggression, violence, and devastation. Even though it's occasionally used as a dispute-resolution strategy, war has a number of drawbacks. As old as human civilization itself, war is a state of armed conflict between various nations or states. War has overwhelmingly negative effects, despite being romanticized in some contexts as a symbol of human bravery and resiliency. These effects affect people individually, in communities, and across entire countries, spanning many facets of society.
But there was no denying that the creation and use of the atomic bomb fundamentally altered the nature of warfare in the world. Since 1945, the possibility of nuclear war has hung over international conflicts, threatening a level of "prompt and utter destruction" never before seen in the world, despite the fact that the bombing of Japan remains the only use of nuclear weapons in a war.
