Anjali Chandurkar Kale is an IT professional, writer and the author of the book, "Watermelon Fairy". She has nurtured her passion for writing since childhood; she would contribute small articles and poems and publish them in the Newspaper "The Hitavada", kids' magazine "Twinkle Star" and "The Lokmat Times".
Anjali is a devoted mother of a little girl, 'Jaishnavi' and loves narrating and reading stories to her daughter as a bedtime routine. Jaishnavi’s demand for new stories everyday inspired Anjali to weave beautiful fairy
tales coupled with morals that triggered her daughter’s imagination, developed interest in listening to stories, and inculcate good kid qualities.
With all the stories in the back of her mind, Anjali decided to convert them into a book so that every child could enjoy and read again and again. "Watermelon Fairy" is her first children’s book with many more in the pipeline.
