Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalA career in the Indian Armed Forces requires the candidates to undergo the Services Selection Board i.e. SSB Interview. While there are many books and notes that advice what should be done, this book has been written to provide details of what should not be done during various tasks of the SSB Interview to ensure recommendation on the day of the Board Conference. This book comes as a result of experience that I had during the 22 SSB Interview attempts from 2017 to 2021 for various entries to the Indian Army, Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force for the rank of Lieutenant and equivalent. This book tells you both; what to do and more necessarily, 'What not to do!'
Gourav Vivek Kulkarni
Gourav Vivek Kulkarni is a Mechanical Engineer graduated in 2017, living in Belgaum Karnataka. After having been a cadet of Air Wing NCC during school and college days and while pursuing the A, B and C Certificates of NCC, he developed an inclination towards the Indian Armed Forces. Due to his interest in Physics and general science, he chose Mechanical Engineering as graduation and career subsequently. During his attempts to join the Armed Forces, he has given 22 SSB Interviews out of which 8 are for the Air Force and 7 each for Army and Navy. He has appeared for almost all the entries, both direct and ones through a written exam. Although he was not recommended in any of the attempts, this book comes as a guide to the aspirants with tips such that by avoiding a few things, one can improve chances of recommendation.
