WHEN MILORD WENT TO LONDON THE TALE CONTINUES...

Author Name: Raunak Chaturvedi | Format: Paperback | Genre : Literature & Fiction | Other Details

After the success of my first novel, ‘Milord V. Milady: A Tale of Two Justices’, I thought that I shouldn’t leave my readers astray and should provide them with a final showdown to this story. Hence, I am back with a sequel to my novel! This sequel has an international backdrop. It is set in London. Unlike the previous novel, where the focus was upon Justices and their interactions amongst themselves, this novel particularly deals with me as being the 81st Chief Justice of India and my interactions with the British Judiciary, royalty and above all, my estranged relatives. A combination of drama, philosophy and obviously, loads of satire and comedy, this novel marks my fictional adventures as I manoeuvre myself through the meanders of selfishness and obligations. Also, I get to meet my dead mother. I won’t reveal the secret, or else it shall spoil the interest of my readers. Brace yourselves for an extraordinary story. I hope you all shall like it. The events are strictly fictional and are meant only for entertainment purposes.

Justice, equality and fair play. These have been my best friends since childhood. From a pianist to a comparative mythologist; from a philosopher to a poet and an author of 4 books (including this); from a legal scholar to a spiritualist, I have done it all! I hail from a family of eminent jurists- my parents are former Consumer Judges and currently practising advocates. I hate three things- lies, cheating and injustice. I love three things- honesty, justice and purity of heart. I worship three things- my mother, Santoshi maa and my work. Currently, I am pursuing B.B.A-LL.B. (HONS.) at Amity University, Kolkata and am in my 2nd year. I had done my schooling from D.P.S., Ruby Park, Kolkata, from grade Nursery to 12th grade (Science-P.C.B.). I wish to become a Judge someday.
