Poetry is the true representation of feelings, perceptions, and over all the reflections of one’s mental endeavours. It symbolizes all the conflicts that dominate poets mind either from childhood memories or impressions laid down by the society. Every writer has an idea in the form of an event beforehand that acts as an inspiration for the fabrication of lines called poetry.
This small volume of poems is just an attempt to knock at the door of one of the most beautiful and classical genres of literature. While writing any of the poems I have never tried to rheostat my emotions that might have influenced the inspired thoughts. The same could very easily be acknowledged by any reader as the poems vary in from, content and subject as well.

I Dr. Fasil Barkat hold a Ph.D. degree in English Literature. I am currently working at Islamic University of Science & Technology, J&K. I am also serving as English Tutor (e-learning) at South Carolina, USA.
Writing has always been my passion and I believe that Life is a series of events and it's the sine qua non to keep on learning. A line or two is an experience that could save a lot, be it a life or time. I authored a number of books so far, including a quotes book titled ‘Daily Dose, The Quotes for Everyday Life’, 'Indian English Poetry, A Visit To Indian Thoughts' and 'As-Saum (Fasting) A Brief Introduction in the light of Quran and Sahih Hadith.' Besides books I have been contributing to various national and international journals, writing book chapters and newspaper articles. I have been honoured with few awards & two gold medals in the year 2018.
