Wish Upon a Falling Star is the debut novella by Kaushani Chatterjee, pen-named Scarlet. She is a university student, born and brought up in a middle-class family in West Bengal. The vivid memories of her student life somehow provoked her to write about all those teenagers who struggle to discover the meaning of love, friendship, bonding, and relationship. She loves to write and watch Japanese animes. Apart from writing she also loves to travel, and to read romance, gothic, and fantasy novels.
