The concept of writing this book was born in me from a day when i was sitting with my father and he was talking about kashmir he was talking about what was kashmir then and what is kashmir now.
From that day i decided to write a book about my feelings and feelings of my people. For this purpose, i invited different authors across the valley and put their feelings in book.I am also co-author of another book ( The Creative Minds) the main source of inspiration of writing this book is the coolest, smartest,and most amazing man in the world And i get to call him papa.
Ishfaq Qadir Bhat
Though, I can't gather words to describe myself, so, I will try to portray a basic sketch of mine. My name is Ishfaq Qadir Bhat. I am a lone son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat and Shareefa Begum accompanied two sisters. I am a resident of Chattibandy. It's a small village in district Bandipora of Jammu and Kashmir. Professionally, I am a student and passionately, I love writing. I write in urdu language mostly under my pen name " اُمید " ( Umeed) . I write to contribute for the upliftment of people in society.
