Dr. Madan Mohan Tarun, Ph.D., D.Litt., served in prime defence and civil institutions of India, like National Defence Academy, Kadakwasla, Pune, LBS National Academy of Administration, Missouri, as Reader and Professor and headed Hindi and languages faculties. Basically a Hindi poet, fiction writer, a critic and thinker, he also writes in English. Some of his English poems are included in a collection of ‘Best Poets and Poems of 2000’, published by poetry.com. He is the recipient of ‘Editor's Choice Award' for 'Outstanding Achievement in Poetry' by poetry.com in 2002.
Dr. Madan Mohan Tarun has authored more than twelve books in Hindi and has been celebrated with several awards, including 'Lifetime Achievement Award'.
