Every journey begins with a question. For me, the question was simple: How can I help people sustain themselves within an organization? This book is the result of my search for answers, my personal exploration into navigating the corporate world, and a reflection of the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
As a sales professional with 25 years of experience, I’ve gained firsthand knowledge of how individuals can fit into, thrive, and sustain themselves in an organization. Whether through my own experiences or by observing others, I realized there was a gap in understanding the dynamics of organizations, and I felt compelled to address it.
Mastering the Corporate Maze is not just a collection of ideas but a practical guide for Senior, Middle, and Junior-level employees to survive and succeed in any organization. My hope is that by reading this book, you’ll see the corporate landscape from a new perspective, and perhaps even discover something about yourself along the way.
In these pages, I’ve drawn from my two and a half decades in the corporate world to craft a narrative that is both insightful and accessible. You don’t need to be an expert to grasp the concepts here you just need curiosity and a willingness to engage.

Manoj N G
Manoj N G was born in Wayanad, a picturesque hill district in Kerala, India. A seasoned sales professional, he brings over 25 years of experience in the consumer durables, cookware and small domestic appliances industries, with 20 years in leadership roles. Manoj holds an MBA from the Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship, Bangalore, graduating in 1999.
Currently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration. Throughout his career, he has worked with notable Indian, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese brands, holding significant roles such as Regional Sales Head for Samsung, Panasonic, and TCL; Country Head for Corporate lending at Progcap; and all India Sales Head for Pigeon, a brand under Stovekraft Ltd. His leadership experience includes managing teams of 50 to 400 individuals and overseeing budgets ranging from $50 million to $200 million. Manoj’s leadership style emphasizes a family-oriented approach and fosters open communication, which has not only fuelled his success but also inspired those around him. Known for his discipline, energy, and enthusiasm, he believes in the power of action, embodied in his motto, “Being a Doer and not a Talker.”
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Manoj is an avid reader with a keen interest in leadership and strategies. As he embarks on his journey as an author with Mastering the Corporate Maze, he aims to provide practical insights for employees at all levels to thrive in organizational settings.
Manoj is married to Manju Bastian and they have two sons Harry and Chris. The family has now settled in the USA.
