Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalWhat could be better than to resort to the pen to purge and vent out the emotions as a mode of catharsis in the quest to revivify and achieve inner healing? The 'Symphony of Catharsis' reflects the essence, challenges, and celebration of the stupendous spirit of womanhood. The section- 'Strokes of melancholy and feathers of hope' (authored, concertedly by Akanksha and Rocktotpal) comprises six poetries, an abstract from a rural woman’s conscious introspection, and a letter from a young lady, tagged as a ‘fallen woman’, echoing her travail and efforts of enfranchisement to her mother. In the section, ‘Perspective and resonance’, Ishani tries to project her take on a range of issues from daily walks of life (from sensitization of males to menstruation to having pockets in women's dresses), pertinent to females and society as a whole.
