Dr. Keshab Chandra Mandal
Dr. Keshab Chandra Mandal, a Ph. D. in Political Science, is a top-notch Social Science Researcher in India. Along with his teaching profession, he has been doing research and publications since 2001. He is a life member of the West Bengal Political Science Association (WBPSA) and also one of the members of its Executive Committee. He is a life member of the Bengal Institute of Political Studies (BIPS). Previously he was a member of the Jadavpur Association of International Relations (JAIR). Presently he is a member of the Kolkata National Library, and many other associations and institutions. He has been regularly contributing to The Alipure Barta as a columnist for the last 3 years. Previously, he worked as the editor of The Shilaboti, a fortnightly newspaper, and the Spirituality and Politics, an E-Magazine. This author has completed an ICSSR-sponsored research project as its Project Director from 2015 to 2017. He also received a publication grant from ICSSR (ERC), Kolkata. His specialization areas are gender empowerment, local governments, state politics, national development, Sustainable Development Goals, National Education Policy, etc. Dr. Mandal has published 18 research-oriented books, and more than one hundred scholarly articles in magazines, journals, and newspapers in India and abroad. He has been invited to participate from different Universities in Europe including London, Ukraine, France, etc. His 11 books are available in National Library, Kolkata and his four works in six publications have 46 world library holdings.
