The other character, Sudhakar, was a neighbor of Ameena Bibi. Sudhakar and Ameena Bibi become friends and they both share a bond of love and affection. This story is about an incredible reunion of mother and son after 40 years and also the victory of a mother. The book highlights different shades of emotions among characters and their honest commitments towards each other.

The Partition of India had a devastating effect on various societies in this subcontinent. The social fabrication, that was developed after several years, was shattered. Though many decades have passed by, its dark shadow can be still felt in various societies of this country as of date. As such the Partition always remains one of the major topics for writers and filmmakers and is a major part of discussion. From an early age, I also heard about the Partition incident from its many victims. The main essence of the book is immortal power of motherhood.
