Rachana Awatramani

Rachana Awatramani has done her B.A. in psychology, after which she has successfully completed her M.A. in Counseling Psychology in 2010. She is also certified in Psychology First Aid by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Online) and she is a certified Happiness Life Coach. Rachana, as the name means, ‘to create’, she has been inventing her own ways of dealing with herself and her clients. She has worked with different schools and institutes in Mumbai like Fidai Institutions, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Umang Foundation Trust. She is also the Founder of Celebrating Life Welfare Trust and Director of Insight Counseling Services LLP. She conducts many training programs and workshops on various psychology-related topics in India. Her first published book was “I’m A Miracle Being”. She has taken up the Mental Health First Aid India project because she strongly believes in its motto and also understands the importance of it given the nation’s current scenario. Rachana Awatramani regularly contributes in Times of India under ask the expert column and her responses have also been translated in various languages like Hindi, Telugu and Indonesian. She also shares her thoughts in various print media such as, Midday, Mumbai Mirror, New Age Women, Teenager Today etc. She has been recently honored by the Women of Excellence award by Women Economic Forum 2018.
