The author, Dr. Bharati Chand, has an academician, educationist and administrator since the last two decades. She comes with extensive teaching experience in teacher-training-college in Mumbai, where she also served as its principal. She has an eclectic subject experience of philosophy, psychology, English linguistic and education. She has published and presented several articles in national as well as international conferences/seminars. She has also contributed three books Symphony of Philosophy and Education, Education in Contemporary Indian Society and Language Across Curriculum to the field of education. She was also the recipient of “Gurukul Saraswati Samman” award in 2015 for her significant contribution to the cause of women’s education.
