Dr. S. Kandasamy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Avadi, Chennai, India. He received his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from Pondicherry University, Pondicherry in 2005 and M.Tech. in Advanced Construction Technology from Pondicherry University, Pondicherry in 2007. He was awarded Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Pondicherry University, Pondicherry, India in 2017. He has 12 years of experience including Teaching, Research and Industrial. He has received the outstanding Ph.D thesis Award in the field of concrete from Indian Concrete Institute in 2018. His major research interests have been in the area of construction and concrete technology particularly in controlled permeable form work,very high volume fly ash concrete, geo polymer concrete and modern concrete materials. He has published many technical paper in refereed Journals and international conferences. He is a member of Indian Society for Technical Education and Indian Concrete Institute.
