Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalAll Lives Matter, Myopia of Humanity: Engaging the Words of Jesus contains different topics in random order. Black Lives Matter, Myopia of Humanity is the first one. The differences in the humanity are outside visual spectrum of some people. ‘Black Lives Matter’, or ‘I cannot breathe’ calls for attention from the nations. Slavery was to keep people as animals as the workforce. Aristotle and Plato viewed slaves had inferior souls. Anti-Semitism systematically annihilated Jews by the Nazis. Was not because slavery that, during certain ancient and later times, religious and cultural monuments and edifices ‘wonders of the world’ erected? But nobody cares or is even aware of the brutality meted out to the slaves behind each of these edifices. Is it not the slave force that made some nations super rich? Even the justice systems down the millennia were fashioned after the established systems of slavery and other discriminations. This mental pandemic of discrimination and oppression of minority cultures are continuing. Humans have to look at all the human beings in the world from a higher echelon, from a divine perspective from where God is seeing all human beings as His own children.
