Manish Diwadkar
Manish is an Advocate practicing in the Bombay High Court and the Bombay City Civil Court since 1992. He is deeply influenced by the ‘Advaita’ philosophy of Swami Vivekananda and follows the teachings of Guru Nanak in daily life. An avid reader and a die-hard Kishore Kumar fan, he played Tennis in his student days.
During the course of his practice as a civil lawyer, and, even otherwise, Manish came across myriadcases of matrimonial discord. He realized that, in most of the cases the root cause of the matrimonial discord can be attributed to the flawed system of arranged marriages prevalent in India. It prompted Manish to write a book on the system of arranged marriages prevalent in India, over the ages. This resulted in his book, “Arranged Marriages in India: A Case For Review”.
