Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalB. S. Taygi was born on 6th April 1955. He belongs to Muzaffar Nager U.P., India. He writes in both Hindi and English. He is a very practical and sensitive author of the contemporary Anglo English Literature. He has many novels, short stories poems to his credit. He has translated many reputed works. This works of fiction contains interesting short stories drawn from different walks of life. The author has presented effortlessly situations, conditions, events, feelings and the mindset of the people for which they have been known throughout. The events pictured in the stories come from the real society in which we live. They dwell upon the first-hand experience of the characters whom we meet in daily life. The reactions of these characters are such as is expected in particular situation. Hence, quite real. The author’s observation is quite interesting, catching, witnessing and intriguing. It helps the readers greatly to understand human psyche, condition, situation, and over all human nature. The stories are timeless in the sense that they present universal human behavior with all complexities. There are ten stories dealing with different situations in the life of an ordinary man – aam adami. Some of the stories inspire the readers to think over the situations that matter most in the life of a society while others make compelling reading and the readers learn lots of things that are inevitable to bring about a change in life. I really admire the author’s venture.
