This level may exceed at any time to the level demonstrated to cause injury . Plants being constantly exposed to environment, absorb, accumulate and integrate pollutants impinging on their foliar surfaces and sometimes even show specific response too and can be used as bio indicator for different types of pollutants.In case of trees not only foliar surface but bark also absorb and accumulate the air pollutants. In the present book effect of air pollution with reference to medicinal plants were discussed and elaborated in detail.
