Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalBlooming Roses, Ripening Lemons is a collection of poems originating through personal experiences across time and place.
A work of deep thinking and mesmerising emotions, Vandana invites readers into her world. Her lived adventures, reflections and imagination are so real that you can see, touch and smell them. These poems illustrate the vitality of poetry in our daily lives. They don’t claim to be bold poetry, and one feels a bit dazed reading these poems, as they are simple yet diverse; refreshing yet startling. The reader comes away with a new way of looking at the ordinary objects and events of life so that nothing is quite the same. Brim-full of surprises, delights, imagination and interesting line breaks, there is a lot to explore within these pages. It has poems of love and relationships, tragedies and celebrations, poems that make you smile, cry, think and move your soul. The words may echo with you, or they may not!
You hold the key, be the ultimate judge, in this tale of fragmented thoughts and voices written by her, for you.
