Dr. B.RamyaSathiyaraja has been 9 years of experience which includes both research and teaching experience. She completed Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics at TNAU, Coimbatore, Her field of experience included plant biotechnology, Plant breeding and Genetics and Crop Physiology. At present, she is handling 7 courses in B.Sc., (Agri) and 3 courses for Diploma in agriculture. She has 11 national and 4 international papers in pre-reviewed journals. She is a recipient of several awards like out Standing Achievement and Agri innovation award from GKV Society, Agra, UP, India, she has been recognized for the Best oral presentation at National conference on RAINFED, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Young Scientist from Marina Lab Research and Development, Tamil Nadu, India., Best Young Researcher Award from GRABS education society, Tamil Nadu, India and Teaching Excellence Award from SSDAT, Meerut, India., In the year 2016 she received Out Standing achievement award from Society of Biotechnology, Allahabad. She got funding from NABARD for the Training program on organic cultivation and enhancement of vegetable production at Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu. She is a reviewer of many journals viz., Journal of Applied Life Sciences, International and American journal of experimental agriculture. she is acting as an editor in Velan aran newsletter.
