Sudeept Shrivastav, 42, bears the mantle of a reluctant software engineer but sees himself primarily as a storyteller. Based out of Pune, he revels in the freedom of a happily unmarried life and finds joy in cricket, writing, and motorcycling. His true calling in life has always been that of a Seeker, finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, often on his motorcycle.
Beyond writing, cricket, and riding, Sudeept is also deeply passionate about social causes. He goes by just his first name, a quite protest against the casteism. He also organized a free ration and meals drive during the first lockdown, with the help of crowdfunding, to support migrant laborers. Additionally, he is a registered eye and organ donor—few gestures that quietly enrich his life and reflect his values.
Sudeept aspires to take up writing full-time. His debut book beautifully intertwines his passion for cricket with his gift for narrative.
