Prosenjit Chakraborty was born on 22.01.1953 in a middle-class Bengali family. He is a civil engineer by profession and has worked in many organizations. After he retired from service, he thought of fulfilling his desire to write, and this is his first work. He lives with his wife, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter in the northern suburb of Kolkata.
