Jerrin Chandan S

Jerrin Chandan S is a lecturer, writer, and filmmaker from Bengaluru, India. As an academic, he has taught and explored critical areas such as Postcolonial Studies, Literary Theory and Cultural Studies. His writings are predominantly built around the themes of identity and social justice. His films, that promote dialogue and creative negotiation in a multi-cultural context of India, have been part of various international and national film festivals across the globe. The broad area of his research inquires into the intersections of literature and cinema in defining identities and power relations. At present, he is the Head of the Department of English, St Joseph's Evening College, Bangalore.
