Having witnessed the powerful economic upheavals of the 1990s, the political turbulences of minority mandates for over two decades, the country undergoing sea changes in many socio-economic and political spheres, the poet, Mukul Sain, could barely remain aloof from the tectonic shifts happening within and around him. He has been involved in writing and literature from his days as a teacher for senior secondary levels. Poetry has always been his passion. He has written articles and travelogues for magazines. Echoes of a Silent Heart is his first attempt at publishing his work for a wider audience.
