This book contains a series of joyful love poems, melancholic love poems, and a few abecedarian poems (those that contain all the letters of the English alphabet in order). Since we always experience days of adversity, suffering and pain for a greater part of our lives than joyful days, this book includes a total of 52 love poems – one for every week – with 28 melancholic poems, 21 joyful poems and 3 abecedarian poems.
No one can ever love without being hurt or without experiencing some form of pain or the other. One who has not experienced pain or suffering in love has not really experienced ‘true love.’ It is pain that bestows upon us wisdom.
