Everyone Is Different

Author Name: Lini Abraham Fernandez | Format: Paperback | Genre : Educational & Professional | Other Details

Everyone Is Different is the story of two flowers who become friends despite looking quite different from one another. Puja, a pink flower with broad leaves, grows up with similar flowers in a beautiful garden flowerbed. When an unusual flower, Devi also grows in the flowerbed, the other flowers become fearful because Devi looks different. Her spiked leaves were a sharp contrast to the soft petals of the other flowers and Devi found it difficult to make new friends. Listening to her wise mother, Puja realizes that there is nothing to fear and that with good friends, differences do not matter.

Details such as soft colours, animated facial expressions, and an almost 3-dimensional appearance of each character pulls the reader's eyes towards each illustration.

Children will enjoy the whimsical woodland creatures and the story session would pave way for meaningful discussions.
The message of inclusion is subtle yet powerful through artistic and simplistic flair. They show that differences are all around us and that even the youngest of children can learn about diversity!
