R.B. Joshi hails from Savalgi, Bagalkot District, Karnataka. He belongs to a family of teachers, who have been in the profession for the last five generations. His father Late B. R. Joshi was a tutor at ICS camp at Deharadun in British India.
R.B. Joshi holds a post-graduation degree in English and Sanskirt. He has worked for thirty-seven years as a post graduate teacher at PG centres in Solpur, Maharashtra and BLDE PG Centre, Vijayapur, Karnataka.
He has contributed a number of articles in various journals and also regularly posts on Facebook. He has over one hundred English poems to his credit on the Poemhunter.com.
