Dr. Surender Kumar Dhalwal holds an M.Phil. in Medical and Social Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from the esteemed Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi. He also earned a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Psychology from Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar. With over 22 years of experience in the field of Disability and Mental Health Rehabilitation, Dr. Dhalwal currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology and heads the Department of Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology and Research at the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (Divyangjan), located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. His extensive experience and expertise in the rehabilitation of individuals with visual disabilities have been instrumental in shaping this book.

    Ms. Sunanda Rana completed her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from Gwalior    Mansik Arogyashala, Gwalior. Additionally, she holds a P.G. Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology from the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (Divyangjan) in Dehradun. Currently, she serves as a Consultant Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at NIEPVD, where she contributes her knowledge and skills to the field. Ms. Rana's involvement in the book showcases her dedication and commitment to supporting individuals with visual impairments in their psychological well-being and rehabilitation journey.
